I always love Mondays, anything is possible on a Monday. Which makes the Monday of a new year is a serious game changer! One of the biggest things I want to focus on in 2016 is health and fitness, which is a common New Year’s resolution. For me, it’s not so much a resolution but a lifestyle. Making healthy habits and a workout routine a part of life that I can enjoy and live by. I wasn’t planning on shooting/sharing this outfit but I find myself in this look all day at least once a week because sometimes life is too crazy to change out of your gym clothes but thats real life people!
Below are three lifestyle changes I am focusing on this year…
1. Kayla Itsines. This is the workout routine I will be sticking to all YEAR! I did about 14 solid weeks of Kayla’s workouts in 2015 and it was the best shape I’ve ever been in. I can’t wait to see the results after a full year! I will keep you guys updated on my progress. (If you’re searching for a workout routine I highly recommend this one! 2. Healthy eating habits. I’m not good at diets or depriving myself of certain food groups. I believe everything is best in moderation. I am focusing on simple changes such as…more greens, less pizza. More water, less wine. More fruits, less ice cream. (My favorite snacks coming soon on the blog!)
3. Focus on how I feel. Yes, I have wedding bod on my mind, but more than anything this year I am concentrating on feeling my best rather than looking my best. The results of that are far greater. Nothing feels better than feeding your body whole foods and getting a good sweat in everyday!
